On Monday, February 16th, 2026, at 5:10 PM, the Purchase Fire Department was dispatched as a F.A.S.T (Firefighter Assist & Search Team) to the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department for a 10-75 (Working Fire) on Lester Ave. Purchase Car 2412 and Engine 241 took in the assignment.

Upon arrival, Purchase units were reassigned for firefighting duty and operated on the 2nd floor, conducting a primary search while assisting with fire suppression efforts. Members worked side by side with mutual aid companies to bring the fire under control.

After several hours, all Purchase units were released from the scene just after 8 PM.
