On Monday, September 1st at 14:22 hours, the Purchase Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover on Interstate 684 Southbound.

Car 2414 arrived first on scene and confirmed a reported occupant trapped, confirming the extrication. Rescue 30, along with our automatic aid partners from PCFD Rescue 40 and WHFD E266, worked together to extricate the occupant, who was then treated and transported to a local hospital by EMS.

This was a busy Labor Day for the department, with this incident marking the second MVA with rollover of the day and one of five calls PFD responded to.
