At 16:30hrs Purchase & West Harrison Fire Departments along with Harrison EMS were dispatched to Interstate 684 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
Units arrived on-scene to find a single vehicle into the guardrail with the operator still inside. Members from both departments worked to extricate the patient from the vehicle. Harrison EMS provided care to the patient and transported to a local hospital.
