| The Purchase Fire Department is proud to announce that they are preparing to receive their new engine next month. The bid for this custom pumper was awarded to Seagrave Fire Apparatus in December of 2006. Thirteen months later, the Marauder II is expected to arrive at Excelsior Garage in Mamaroneck, New York, where final touches including striping, lettering, equipment mounting, and radio installation will take place. It is expected to be delivered by the end of January and will replace Engine 238, which has served the department since 1984. |
