At 1448 hours this past Sunday, Purchase and Harrison Fire Departments were dispatched to the Hutchinson River Parkway in the area of North Street for a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival, the incident was located in the Purchase Fire District on the 15A ramp to Westchester Avenue. Engine 241 deployed a hand line to extinguish the fire while additional engines established a nursing operation to supply Engine 241 with additional water. A foam operation was used to fully extinguish the vehicle.
