The Purchase Fire Department responded to 67 calls during the month of September.

Notable responses included:
• 4 structure-related fire responses (STRU’s)
• 15 motor vehicle accidents
• 2 motor vehicle accidents with extrication (PIN’s)
• 12 highway responses
• 2 engine company relocations to neighboring departments
• 15 automatic/mutual aid responses

Training highlights this month included:
• Engine Company Operations
• Vehicle Extrication and Stabilization
• WCDES Weekly Drill Series

The Purchase Fire Department is always welcoming new members, as well as mutual aid members.
