At approx 2208 hours on July 28th, Ladder 53 responded to a 10-75 (Working Fire) on Midland Avenue in the City of Rye. Upon arrival, Ladder 53 assumed the role of the FAS-Team (Firefighter Assist and Search Team). The fire was quickly knocked down through the coordinated efforts of all companies on scene and was brought under control without incident. After the fire was brought under control, Ladder 53 relocated to Locust Avenue at the Rye Fire Department to provide coverage for any additional alarms in the city.
