| On Friday, October 3, 2008 at 9:06 PM, the Purchase Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Westchester Avenue Westbound and Kenilworth Road. Units on scene observed one female laying in the middle of Westchester Avenue after being struck by a Chevy Blazer as she attempted to cross the street. After members assisted EMS with patient packaging, Rescue 30 remained on scene to provide lighting for the accident investigation. All units returned in service at 11:00 PM. |
