On Monday, July 10th, 2022, at 15:34 hours the West Harrison & Purchase Fire Departments were dispatched to a motor vehicle fire on Interstate 287. Engine 241 arrived first due and began extinguishing the passenger vehicle. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the vehicle was overhauled. There were no injuries. Units went back into service just after 4 pm.
