On Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at 7:06 PM, the Port Chester Fire Department was dispatched to report of smoke in the structure at 147 Irving Ave. First arriving units transmitted a 10-75 (Working Fire Assignment). While enroute to relocate to Port Chester Headquarters, Purchase Car 2411 & Engine 241 were redirected to the fire scene. Purchase Firefighters worked along side Port Chester & Rye Brook firefighters assisting in various fireground tasks to quickly bring the fire under control. Purchase units were released just after 8 PM.

At 8:07 PM the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire with an explosion at 305 North Washington Street. First arriving units quickly transmitted a 2nd Alarm for fire showing from numerous floors and a Purchase FAS-Team (Firefighter Assist & Search Team) was requested to the scene. Purchase Car 2411 & Engine 241 arrived on-scene and were quickly reassigned by Command as an Engine Company tasked with securing a water source on Beekman Ave. Engine 241 layed 1200 feet of large diameter hose into the fire scene & supplied numerous mini-monitors and handline’s to help extinguish the heavily involved structure. Purchase units were released from the scene just before 01:00 AM.
