Multiple Morning Incidents

It has been a busy start to the day for the Purchase Fire Department as we have responded to numerous incidents since early this morning. A tractor trailer traveling Westbound on Interstate 287 struck a large portion of the guardrail on the highway causing several additional incidents out on the local roadways. Units operated for over 3 hours until all incidents were brought under control. Expect residual delays on the highway throughout the morning.
