**April Month in Review**

In the month of April, the Purchase Fire Department responded to a total of 53 calls for service. So far in 2021, the Department has responded to 180 alarms. Below is a breakdown of some of the calls that we responded to as well as training that our members attended for the month.

• (18) Out of district Automatic/Mutual Aid Requests
• (12) Motor Vehicle Accidents. One of the accidents required two occupants to be extricated.
• (11) Highway Responses including responses on Interstate 287, 684 and the Hutchinson River Parkway.
• Truck Fire on Interstate 684
• Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Training
• Auto Extrication Training
• Engine Company Operations Training
• Explosive/Terrorism Awareness Training
