On Wednesday evening members of the Purchase & Port Chester Fire Departments attended Con-Edison training at our firehouse. Firefighters were able to review responses involving natural gas and electrical emergencies. Both departments work very closely with Con-Edison on a regular basis and thank them for taking the time to train our firefighters.

Earlier this morning, firefighters from several Sound Shore Fire Departments teamed up for a joint training session at a newly constructed building in the Purchase Fire District. Firefighters were able to review building construction, pre-plans and response considerations for emergencies that we may all respond to.
