On January 28, 2010, just after 6:30 AM, snow started to fall over the tri-state area. This made for a treacherous drive for morning commuters. Between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, members were dispatched to our three major highways for several motor vehicle accidents. Among them included a school bus rollover and a possible pedestrian struck.

Over twelve miles of highway were covered with snow and ice. While dual responses were dispatched for the I-684 incidents, Car 2411 utilized West Harrison units to investigate multiple spin-outs and accidents. Port Chester EMS was also requested to assist due to the additional call volume that Harrison EMS was experiencing.
All units returned to their respective stations safe and sound.
