On Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:41 PM, the Purchase and West Harrison Fire Departments were dispatched to 1000 Westchester Avenue for a reported tractor-trailer rollover with fluid spill. Engine 240 and Rescue 30 arrived on scene and observed a tractor trailer that struck the bollards at the entrance to the United States Postal Facility. The tractor was leaking fluids onto the roadway and the occupant had self extricated prior to members arrival. Members worked with Post Facility Staff to mitigate the leak.
